So this is a realistic piece but with a conceptual message.
It shows the transformation of a fetus into a rose, implying second-life/past-life etc. The lines on the background are actually strings... they have double meanings of an umbellical cord and roots. It is from... Winter or Spring of 2004 and was done in a number two pencil. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
